Texas Wine Festivals Matter More Than Ever

Texas is a big state, and some of our best wineries are tucked away in small towns and rural communities, miles from major highways and popular tourist destinations. That’s part of their charm, but it also presents a challenge.
With the rising costs of fuel, accommodations, and travel, spending a weekend exploring tasting rooms across Texas isn’t always practical or affordable for wine enthusiasts. And for smaller, independently owned wineries, getting customers to make the trip can be just as challenging.
That’s why events like the Granbury Wine Celebration are so important.
We’re bringing wineries from across Texas together in one place, for two dedicated weekends each year, in front of an audience that’s already interested in discovering Texas wine.
For our participating wineries, it’s about much more than pouring samples. It’s an opportunity to introduce their wines to new customers, share their stories, build brand recognition, and establish relationships that can continue long after the festival ends.
It’s also an opportunity to support the agricultural industry behind the bottle. Texas grape growers and winemakers face increasing production costs, unpredictable weather, and the ongoing challenge of competing in an already crowded marketplace. Creating more opportunities for consumers to discover and purchase Texas wine helps strengthen the industry as a whole.
Since launching in 2024, we’ve found that approximately 68% of Granbury Wine Celebration ticket holders come from outside Granbury. That’s an audience of potential new customers for our wineries, while also bringing valuable tourism dollars to our local restaurants, retailers, and accommodations.
We’re not trying to replace the experience of visiting a Texas winery. We’re hoping to inspire it.
Because a single tasting can turn into a wine club membership, a return customer, or a future trip to a tasting room that someone might never have discovered otherwise.
And that’s exactly why we do what we do.
